Rinker 230 Festiva Cuddy with Mercruiser 5.7L 260HP - SOLD

If you want a boat that’s a little different to the usual fleet of anonymous white and blue runabouts then this Rinker 230 Festiva could be the boat for you.

Now, if you’re familiar with GulfStream Boat Sales, you’ll know that I am extremely wary of older boats – because I know how much of a nightmare they can be. If I can’t be totally sure that I’m not selling someone a boat load of trouble then I will not get involved. Full stop.

Having said that, this boat is about as far removed from the typical older boat scenario as you can get. I’ve known the boat since we repowered it with a new motor in 2013 and she is in outstanding condition.

This Rinker 230 Festiva, built in 1993, is an absolute credit to her current owner. As far as we know she has primarily been used in fresh water and has been meticulously maintained and very well looked after.

Repowered (by us) with a new long motor in July 2013, she has been sparingly used and stored indoors since then. She has also been tastefully improved and upgraded with LED lighting throughout the cockpit, an up-to-date Sony Bluetooth sound system, and a fresh coat of paint to spruce up the hull stripes.

Other than this the boat is totally original, with complete original interior in outstanding condition, all original hull fixtures and fittings and an undamaged hull and deck.

This boat is in remarkable condition throughout. Every single switch, gauge, clip and hinge works perfectly. The condition of this boat really would put many a 10 year old boat to shame…

As I’m sure you know, if you are looking at boats of around 15 years old or more, then the actual age quickly becomes irrelevant… It’s all about condition!

At 23 feet long and with 260HP on tap from the eager V8 motor this is a fantastic large cuddy which is happy blasting along through coastal chop or larger inland lakes. Sporting a solid deep-v hull she is a very capable boat that’s ideally suited to long daytrips (or even overnight stays in the spacious cuddy cabin) with enough performance to satisfy all the watersports enthusiasts in your crew.
