This Ultramar 550 Week-End is a fantastic pilot house fishing-boat-cum-day-cruiser. This Spanish-built Ultramar is an extremely solid, versatile, sea-going boat.

The boat is remarkably spacious for its size. It has a large, self-bailing aft deck area that is perfectly appointed for fishing, with two recessed rod-holders and a lined and drained live-well. The boat as a whole can comfortably accommodate 5 or 6 adults. It has a functional, low-maintenance wheelhouse, which includes a wrap-around L-shaped seating arrangement -with seating for 3 adults around a large table- that offers great shelter from the elements.
The boat has fantastic seakeeping ability with a high transom and a cathedral-style hull complete with sponsons, which stabilise the boat and provide great buoyancy to prevent rocking. This sophisticated hull, along with a high transom, gives the Ultramar the feel of a much bigger boat and provides great handling in choppy conditions.
