2006 Maxum 3100 SE Diesel 2 x 250HP - SOLD

If you’re familiar with our website and our business, you’ll know that I almost never list boats for sale with only the owner’s photos or without a full video tour.

This is for a couple of reasons, but mainly it’s because I will only advertise a boat for sale if I have been through it myself, checked it all over and decided that it’s a good one.

I’ve made an exception in this case.

And, the reason that I’ve made an exception and decided to list the boat for sale, with only a few quick snaps from the owner, is because I know the owner very well and I know what he’s like…

In short, he’s fussy.

I have dealt with him over the last 10 years and his boats are always kept in very good order.
He uses them on a regular basis and he also changes them on a fairly regular basis (God Bless him!). And crucially, when it comes time to move the boat on to the next owner he will leave it right. He is not one for passing on trouble or quibbling over snags when selling his boats. He wants the buyer to be as happy and content with their purchase as I do, and for this reason he is a joy to work with.

The other thing about the owner of this boat is that he moves quickly. He is always looking out for the next boat. At this minute in time I think he has 3 boats… (Again, God Bless Him!) and he has found another to replace this Maxum. So for that reason, he has asked me to move quickly to find a buyer for the Maxum.

So I’ve made an exception to the rule and advertised this boat quickly…

Over the next couple of weeks, if the boat doesn’t sell then I will be travelling down to it to take a bunch of photos and make a proper video tour, but in the meantime please check out the photos that the owner took last weekend (17th September 2017). You’ll see them in the gallery below.

Now, to the boat itself…

There is every chance this boat could sell before I get time to make the video tour because she is a super low hours example of a very stylish and popular sports cruiser that’s in lovely condition.

Built in 2006, this Maxum 3100 SE is fitted with the best engine option; that being a pair of 4.2L Cummins Mercruiser 250HP Diesels on Bravo 3 drives. These engines are not only bulletproof in terms of reliability but they give this boat seriously impressive performance. They also only have 152 hours on the clock.

This boat has a fantastic spec with pretty much everything you could want on a Sports Cruiser of this size, whether you are using her on the coast or the lake. This includes a Bow Thruster, Heating,
Raymarine C80 Chart Plotter, VHF, Flexiteek Swim Platform, Camper Covers, Tonneau Cover, etc. It pretty much has it all!

She was fully serviced in Spring 2017, to include new gimbal bearings and bellows etc and apart from needing an end of season valet and hull polish (which will be arranged before the boat goes) she is ready to go and in very fine order.

She is also keenly priced given her spec and condition and the owner is looking for a reasonably fast sale, given that the new boat is in the pipeline.
