2007 Glastron GS259 with Volvo Penta 5.0 GXi (Stock Boat with Warranty) - SOLD

I’m regularly asked (mainly by sales reps!), whether I would consider selling new boats again.

And the truthful answer is that I wouldn’t buy a new boat myself right now, so I’m not going to ask anybody else to.

I’m sure this will change in the next few years, but right now there is still great value in the used boat market and I personally would find it very tough to justify the cost of a new boat.

Will it ever make sense to buy new again?…

In a word. Yes…

…because so few new boats have been sold since 2008, eventually we are going to run out of good clean used stock, so the only option for a really fresh boat will be to buy new.

BUT this hasn’t happened just yet and for now the cards are heavily stacked in favour of buying used.

And if you do decide to buy used, and you want to guarantee the future value of your investment, then you should buy as young a boat as you can find.

Now, It’s going to be hard to find a used 25ft Sports Cruiser much fresher than this Glastron GS 259; and it’s certainly going to be a tall order to find one that’s any better value.
